Robert Felix Obituary

Army Veteran died Monday, November 26, 2012 at his home in Hockessin, Delaware, surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born in Chester, Pa, on October 23, 1942 to Robert and Madeline Felix. He graduated from St. James Catholic High School, Chester, Pa. and continued his education at PMC (Weidner University). he was a resident of Mullica Hill, New Jersey for 33 years prior to moving to Hockessin 2 years ago. Bob recently retired as an electrical engineer with Vitetta Architects and Engineers, van cleef and arpels bracelets replica Philadelphia. He had many loves, the most important being his family. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, woodworking, driving his beloved TR4, and attending his grandson's sporting events and musical concerts. While in New Jersey, he was involved in many activities including volunteer positions on several boards, committees and the Harrison Township Planning Board. He enjoyed travelling, cruising to islands, and gathering with family and old friends. He was a staunch supporter of St. James Alumni Bulldogs and was pleased that a new consolidation of 3 schools became a grammar school in New Jersey and took the St. James name and its mascot. True to his roots, he always enjoyed Ukrainian foods, festivals and holidays. Married to Sharyn C. van Deusen for 43 years, he was a devoted and loving husband, best friend and will be sadly missed. He has been loved by all and well respected for his knowledge, loyalty and generosity. Visitation with the family from 10am to 11:30, in the church sanctuary, followed by a Memorial Service conducted by Rev. Glenn Conaway.
